Alternative titles could be "this land is alive with crabs", or "it is too busy to be raining right now."

This picture took a couple of years to do and is about 32 X 42 inches in size. I was lucky enough to win first place with this in the juried Cotton District Arts Festival Competition in Starkville, MS on April 21, 2007.

Orchipinceration. Just so floralesioned & focursed. Crabsoulutely brackladore the core-nate ventanglmentriculation, the bouldowalking legs and croogeyser wretchu-chelae.

Wow.. It makes my brain hurt how much detail you've put into this.

I would never - and will never - have that much patience. Congratulations on a job well done. (and after so long, you must be glad it's done!)

Hah, I hear you. It is always a relief to finish something like this. Thanks for checking it out. It looks really cool framed in full size. Right now it is hanging in an art gallery here in Mississippi.

Oooh, and in a gallery, too! That must make you proud. :D
I believe you - I can sort of picture what it might look like framed and full sized, though of course I could be totally off. It must be magnificent.

I've got to stop whining about how long my drawings take me. :giggle:

Thanks, yes, I have been lucky enough to have this drawing in a few exhibits here and there the last couple of years, all in Mississippi. It won first place in a regional show too, so that was very sweet!

Yeah, unless your drawings are taking at least 500 hours, you can't complain or whine! But, actually, constantly having something to work on is kind of nice in its own right. You can start thinking more about depth and detail. The process is the fun part. To be honest, when I finish something, I rarely look at it again, and if I do, it doesn't usually do much for me.

Thank you again for your very kind comments, I really appreciate it.
